Privacy Policy

Sicavie ("we," "us," "Sicavie") provides a cycle and GLP-1 medication tracking application. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what rights you have over it. We wrote it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address, and if you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and email those services share with us.
• Health tracking data you enter: period dates, flow, symptoms, GLP-1 medication name, dose, injection site, and side effects you log.
• Payment information: if you subscribe, payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — only that a payment succeeded and your subscription status.
• Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type) kept temporarily for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We do not share your health data with advertisers, data brokers, or social media platforms.
• We do not use your health data to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

Where your data lives

Your account and tracking data are stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in Canada (Montreal region). If you don't create an account, your data stays only in your own browser and is never sent to us at all.

Why we collect it

Solely to provide the service: to save your entries across devices, to calculate your cycle predictions and insights, and to manage your subscription if you choose to pay. We do not use your health data for any purpose beyond making the app work for you.

Your rights

• Access and export: the app includes a built-in "Export as JSON" feature in Settings, giving you a full copy of your data at any time.
• Deletion: the app includes a "Clear all data" option in Settings. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we'll remove it within 30 days.
• Correction: you can edit or delete any entry directly in the app at any time.

If you're in the European Union, France, or the UK, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL). If you're in Quebec, you have rights under Quebec's Law 25, including the right to data portability and to know how your information is used.

Third parties we use

To run Sicavie, we rely on a small number of service providers, each bound by their own privacy and security obligations: Google Firebase (accounts and data storage), Stripe (payment processing), and Netlify (website hosting). None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Children

Sicavie is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify you directly.
